Government and Economics

Government and market economics is a new branch of economics that focuses on how government behaviors and incentives motivate and facilitate the market economy and vice versa. Current economic studies do not cover this research area, but many of China's best practices and new economic insights are related to this field. A major tenet of government and market economics is that government is the biggest market player among all modern economies, and government incentives and behaviors influence economic development. This new branch of economics asks us to examine the concrete ways in which governments influence economic performance.
