Speaker Bio:
Jane Kabubo-Mariara is Executive Director of the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) and Professor of Economics at the University of Nairobi. She served as the Director of the University of Nairobi’s School of Economics from 2010 to 2016; Member of the Central Bank of Kenya’s Monetary Policy Committee; and Member of the German Institute of Global and Area Studies’ (GIGA) Advisory Board, among other posts. She has previously held various corporate and scientific advisory roles for local, regional and international organizations.
